Gardeners often argue about whether it is necessary to remove the crown (first) flower from peppers and eggplants. What should you do?

Eggplants

Experienced gardeners recommend monitoring the moment the first flower appears in order to remove it immediately. If this is not done, the crop will not develop harmoniously.

The plant itself will grow to a miniature size.

You can't dream of a rich harvest: the presence of several fruits is already an unexpected result.

Pepper

This crop is a little more difficult to deal with. In particular, pepper does not have a crown flower as such, because several of them appear at the same time.

The plant also tries to get rid of unnecessary ones on its own.

However, with the appearance of the first fruit, it should be removed. If this is not done, the entire season will be lost – you can't expect a good harvest.
