Is it true that coffee dehydrates the body?

For many, a cup of coffee is just part of a successful start to the day. The assumption that it dehydrates the body persists, but is it really so?
Cappuccino, latte macchiato, espresso or black coffee is the most popular drink in the world. Many coffee lovers wonder if the drink draws water from the body. The answer is no. This error occurs due to an incorrect interpretation of the results of the study. Today's numerous studies prove that coffee does not remove water from the body.
What is the norm of coffee?
The caffeine contained in it has a mild diuretic effect, even with irregular use. If you drink coffee every day, it no longer works. The drink can be added to the daily water balance.
However, this does not mean that you should drink coffee by the liter: the invigorating effect affects the cardiovascular system too much. For example, the German Nutrition Society recommends no more than 350 milligrams of caffeine per day, which is equivalent to about 3-4 cups of coffee. Water and unsweetened fruit or herbal teas are better for quenching thirst.
