There is an opinion that water that has been boiled several times becomes unsuitable for drinking. Allegedly, harmful compounds are formed in it. Scientists decided to debunk this myth.

They boiled 15 liters of water 18 times until it completely evaporated. After each boiling, the scientists cooled the water and tested it for suitability for drinking.

In particular, its content of iron, magnesium, copper, selenium, chlorine and other elements. The taste properties of the water and the smell were checked, as well as the presence of Escherichia coli. As a result, no deviations were found. Scientists have come to the conclusion that repeatedly boiled water can be drunk.
