According to the chief freelance psychiatrist-narcologist Vitaly Holdin, such self-treatment will not only not give results, but will also worsen the patient's condition.

The specialist clarified that modern methods imply drug therapy. The body is cleansed of toxins and ethanol decay particles, then the person's physical condition is restored, and they are also taken through a course with a psychologist and psychotherapist.

“There are many herbs that cause aversion to alcohol, but unfortunately, getting rid of the disease by taking only them will not work,” explained Holdin.

He recommended contacting professional narcologists if such a problem exists, rather than trying to fight the disease on your own.
