It's surprising, but it's a fact: smartphones turned out to be dangerous for allergy sufferers

A smartphone display can contain many allergens. This is evidenced by recent scientific studies. Therefore, constantly holding the device to your face may not be so safe.

Recent scientific works say that smartphones can contain fungi and pet hair on their surface. For this reason, allergy sufferers should remember one thing.

American scientists have discovered that phone allergies do exist. And those who suffer from asthma or whose body is prone to allergic reactions are especially susceptible to it. So, researchers from Boston and Iowa managed to record large quantities of cat and dog allergens and β-d-glucans on phones.

Now imagine how many times a day we touch our smartphone, put it to our ear. Allergens can easily get into the mucous membrane of the eye, nose or respiratory tract, and then cause symptoms of the allergy itself.

Doctors therefore advise cleaning the smartphone regularly. Various mixtures have proven to be the most effective.

However, at home, the easiest thing for allergy sufferers is to wash the case with soap and water often, as well as wipe the smartphone display with a microfiber cloth (it must first be moistened and then squeezed out strongly).

You can also use isopropyl alcohol (70%) or ethyl alcohol (75%).
