If the body experiences a lack of vitamin C for more than three months, a condition may occur , known as follicular keratosis.

When the body does not receive the required amount of vitamin C for more than three months, a condition such as follicular (hair) keratosis, also known as “goosebumps”, may occur.
In the case of keratosis, the protein substance keratin begins to accumulate in the pores. skin, provoking excessive keratinization and the appearance of papules. As a result, the surface of the skin becomes bumpy and rough. This symptom often occurs on the forearms, thighs, and buttocks.
Another skin symptom that may show a lack of vitamin C is easy bruising.
