Liver pate with carrots – a dish that is easy to prepare at home, and it will be an excellent addition to the festive table or a daily snack. Liver is a very healthy product, rich in iron and B vitamins, which help maintain energy and healthy skin.
To make pate, you will need liver, carrots, onions, butter and some spices. First, fry the liver on medium heat together with finely chopped onions. It is interesting that if you do not over-fry the liver, it will remain juicy, which will make the taste of pate more refined. But carrots add a light sweetness to the pate and make it more delicate in texture.
To make the pate especially delicate, after frying, put all the ingredients in a blender and beat until smooth. Add softened butter for a creamy texture and the pâté is smooth.
Add some black pepper and nutmeg for a deeper flavor, and chill the pâté in the fridge for a few hours before serving. This way, it will have a better structure and will be easy to spread on bread or toast.
