Liver pancakes with buckwheat: delicious for children and adults

We share a simple and very tasty recipe for cooking chicken liver. You can use the buckwheat that was left over from yesterday's dinner or lunch.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken liver 700 g
  • Onion 1-2 pcs.
  • Buckwheat 0.5 tbsp. + 1 glass of water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • vegetable oil
  • 4-5 tbsp flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Chop the onion and fry until cooked in oil.

Chicken liver (you can use another type of liver) is ground in a meat grinder or blender until puree.

Now mix the liver with buckwheat, you can boil it especially for this dish or use the leftovers from dinner.

You can not add sour cream, but if it is available, it is better to add 1 tbsp. l (“with a slide”), so the pancakes will turn out juicier.

Also add the fried onion and mix.

Add eggs, salt and pepper to taste.

Add baking powder and flour. Add flour gradually, starting with 1 tbsp. l., the amount of flour depends on how the liver was chopped, if it is ground with a blender, it will turn out finer and a little more flour will be needed. Approximately 4 tablespoons are needed. The consistency should be like pancakes.

Heat a little oil in a frying pan and spread the mass onto the pan with a spoon.

Fry until cooked on both sides.

Serve with sour cream, vegetables, whatever you like best.
