Living on the upper floors weakens health and increases the risk of death
Living on upper floors can be the cause of weakened immunity, and it also increases the risk of death from a heart attack, scientists admit.
< p>Living at a height is not good for health – the higher a person lives, the worse his immune system functions, increasing the susceptibility to various diseases. This is reported by the “Medical Information Network”, referring to research by Canadian scientists from the University of Toronto and specialists from St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto.
“A person first got used to living on the ground, and the higher his apartment is located, the greater the probability of immune system disorders. The fact is that the distance from the planet's magnetic field increases with each floor, and without its influence, the human body cannot function normally,” explains the negative impact of living on the upper floors.
Having analyzed a large amount of data, experts called the most habitable floors from the first to the fourth. Although living up to the seventh floor is not ideal, it is acceptable, it does not pose serious health threats.
People who live higher are more often faced with inflammatory processes and oncological diseases, say experts.
For those who live at a height, starting from the sixteenth floor, the highest risk of death from the consequences of heart disease, their data shows. Experts attribute this to the influence of infrasound – acoustic vibrations contained in the noise of the atmosphere. It is on the upper floors that their influence is felt by the body especially strongly.
“Infrasound of high intensity, due to the coincidence of the frequencies of oscillations of internal organs and infrasound waves, contributes to the disruption of the work of almost all internal organs, including possible death due to cardiac arrest.” – experts warn.
