Lose weight by burning fat? What happens to our body during weight loss
0
Weight loss is not a quick process. We exercise, eat healthy food and watch our weight… And gradually we lose excess weight, and therefore fat. Where does it actually go?
Fat cells do not explode, burn or turn into something else. The truth is that 80% of fat… we simply exhale in the form of carbon dioxide! The remaining 20% leave the body in the form of liquids: sweat, tears, urine.
If you didn’t know about this, don’t worry. It turns out that this can be a discovery even for practicing doctors, not to mention nutritionists.
You have probably been convinced that fat turns into muscles, energy or heat and is thus burned in the literal sense. No, it is excreted through the lungs, according to American scientists.
But don’t rush to rejoice that in order to lose weight you no longer need to do sports or limit yourself in food: they say, it is enough to simply breathe, breathe and breathe.
Unfortunately, fat cells must be metabolized before leaving the body. So sports and other actions are needed in many ways in order to speed up metabolism, allowing the body to digest not only food, but also excess fat faster. But don’t forget to breathe anyway!
