Make a potato cake – a recipe with the taste of childhood

You can make this cake from chocolate sponge and butter cream with boiled condensed milk (proportions of products for 6-7 pieces).

  1. To prepare a biscuit, beat three eggs, gradually pour in 95 g of sugar to make a thick and lush mass.
  2. In a bowl, mix 75 g of sifted flour, 20 g cocoa and a little soda on the tip of a teaspoon. Add this dry mixture to the eggs, mix the dough so that it becomes homogeneous, airy and lush.
  3. In the oven heated to 200 degrees, put a sheet on which you will spread the dough on baking paper.
  4. It takes about 10-15 minutes to bake the biscuit. Check readiness with a toothpick and make sure that the dough is not too dry: it should be airy and soft, like a sponge.
  5. Put the finished sponge cake on paper towels to cool, and then cut into pieces. Beat them in the bowl of a blender to get crumbs for the cake.
  6. Then you need to soften 70 g of butter, mix it with 100 g of boiled condensed milk. Next, add a little more than half a tablespoon of cocoa, beat the cream so that it becomes lush and uniform. Add half the volume of biscuit crumbs to it and beat again, then add the rest. Knead the resulting dough and roll it into small balls. Roll them in a mixture of 15 g of powdered sugar and half a tablespoon of cocoa.
  7. Before serving, let the cakes stand for a while in the refrigerator, decorate as desired with fruits or nuts.
