It became known what punishment awaits 16-year-olds who did not register for the military.

Failure to fulfill this obligation marriage at the age of 16 does not create obstacles for going abroad. However, after reaching the age of majority, the situation changes, and the requirements for being on military registration become stricter.

The registration procedure includes visiting the TCC and SP and passing a medical examination. At the same time, in August 2024, the government adopted new rules that make this process easier for certain citizens.

According to the new rules, some men between the ages of 16 and 25 will be automatically registered when obtaining a passport. This also applies to those who issue a passport at Ukrainian consulates abroad, and do not require a military medical examination.
