0
Pensioners in Ukraine have the right to be exempt from mobilization if they meet the established requirements and provide the necessary documents.
Pensioners may be exempted from mobilization according to the following criteria:
Age: Persons who have reached the age of 60 are exempted from mobilization, including those receiving an old age or disability pension.
Health Condition: Seniors with serious health problems who are found unfit for service after medical examination are also exempted.
Caring for disabled relatives: Pensioners who care for disabled family members can be exempt if they have the appropriate documents.
Other categories: This includes pensioners with the status of veterans of labor or with other special services to the state.
To obtain an exemption from mobilization, pensioners must apply to the Military Committee and provide relevant documents , such as a pension certificate, medical certificates or documents proving guardianship. The Military Commissariat checks these documents and makes a decision on dismissal or conscription. Mobilization applies to most conscripts, but pensioners may be exempted due to age, health or other circumstances supported by official documents.
