Disability status guarantees postponement of mobilization, access to benefits, social guarantees and assistance, the ministry reminded.

Rumors about the liquidation of medical and social expert commissions (MSEKs) and the automatic cancellation of disability status are actively spreading on the Internet, which, according to fakes, will make such persons suitable for military service.

The Ministry of Health assures: this is not true.

All people who have an official conclusion of the MSEK will continue to enjoy benefits, social guarantees and receive a deferment from mobilization based on this conclusion during its validity period.

Rumors about the mandatory revision of men aged 25-60 are baseless.

Re-examinations will be carried out only in cases where the patient was supposed to undergo them during 2022-2024, but could not due to valid reasons provided by the legislation during the martial law.

Instead of MSEK, from January 1, 2025, they will work expert teams of doctors who will evaluate a person's functional capabilities according to transparent criteria.

However, these changes do not affect guarantees for people with disabilities.

Neither MSEK nor new expert teams cannot revoke disability status without proper medical justification.
