Mobilization of students in the master's degree – who can be taken to the army

Students of Ukrainian higher education institutions have the right to postpone mobilization, even if they study on a contract basis. But if the student was expelled and then resumed the higher education, the right to postponement does not apply to him.
Postponement for students
In Ukraine, according to the current legislation, the right to postponement is available to students of all domestic universities.
For this, they must meet two main criteria b> — to study at a full-time or dual (mixed) department, and also the principle of the sequence of acquired education should not be violated.
All other students will receive a summons and mobilization, because they do not have the right to deferment.
When contract students have the right to deferment
In this case, it does not matter whether the student is studying under a state order or a contract form student. Lawyer Serhii Bohun, commenting on the issue of a student of full-time contract form master's degree, noted that he has the right to a deferment, despite the fact that he is not studying on a state order.
Lawyer Yuriy Aivazyan clarified: “You have , if they were not deducted from the master's degree in the past”.
