Mosquito allergy: 3 signs that this is your case

Maybe you should stay away from mosquitoes as much as possible!

Every fifth Ukrainian suffers from an allergy to mosquito bites, but many of us don't even realize that itching, blisters and other symptoms are manifestations of this very ailment. Check if you are sensitive to these winged allergens – and don't spare them! Here are some signs that you may be allergic to mosquito or gnat bites.

Hives

A normal reaction to an insect bite is a small amount of swelling and redness that itches and goes away after a few days. But if you notice large lumps or large, reddish spots with raised edges, you may be allergic.

Swelling in your mouth, lips, or throat

This is a serious symptom that indicates that you have a serious allergy. Any swelling in the lower part of the face is a reason to urgently consult a doctor, as it may indicate the development of angioedema, which is potentially fatal.

Nausea

Another sign is a feeling of nausea and weakness, which sometimes appear with severe ARVI or flu.
