Moussaka is a casserole of eggplant, tomatoes and meat originally from Greece

Details

1 kg of eggplants
3-4 tomatoes
1 onion
600 g of ground beef
salt, pepper
150 ml of dry white wine

100 g of butter
2 tbsp. l. of flour
500 ml of milk
eggs
salt, pepper, bay leaf, nutmeg, oregano
100 g + 150 g of cheese

Preparation:
Boil the milk, add salt and spices and leave to cool.
Cut the eggplants into circles, fry without oil. Cut the tomatoes, pour boiling water over them to make it easier to peel them.

Cut into circles and fry them. Cut the onion and fry them as well. Add the minced meat to this and fry until it turns light brown. Then add the wine and cook until the liquid evaporates.

Heat the butter in a saucepan, add the flour and fry a little. Pour in the milk in parts, stirring to avoid lumps. Bring the sauce to a boil and remove from the heat. Add 2 eggs, 100 g of cheese and mix.

Place half of the eggplants on the bottom of the dish, then the minced meat, tomatoes and eggplants on top. Pour in the sauce, sprinkle with cheese and bake at 180° degrees for 40 minutes.
