  • blood in the urine, difficulty urinating, swollen ankles, this indicates kidney problems;
  • severe pain in the chest or abdomen, which is the result of a stomach or intestinal ulcer;
  • difficulty breathing and worsening asthma symptoms.

There may still be an allergic reaction to ibuprofen. Its symptoms include itching, redness and peeling of the skin, wheezing, pressure in the chest and throat, and a swollen tongue.
