According to scientists, proper nutrition will help preserve vision and reduce the risk of developing serious eye diseases. Specialists from the Massachusetts Hearing and Vision Hospital said that excessive consumption of fatty foods increases the risk of developing progressive age-related molecular degeneration.

According to the results of a study published in the medical journal Archives of Ophthalmology, vegetable, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are equal to linoleic acid negatively affects the health of the eyes.
