The need for “beneficial bacteria” for humans has been known for a long time, but where to find them and how to use them correctly.

According to the expert, probiotics are contained in many foods, but not all of them are equally useful. For example, take canned mushrooms. A lot depends on how the raw materials were pasteurized.

The more the product is heated, the more beneficial microorganisms die in it. However, marinade manufacturers are trying to increase the shelf life of their products, so they don't worry much about probiotics.

The doctor also explains that the same thing happens with homemade dishes. For example, sauerkraut contains a lot of probiotics, but if you heat it up thoroughly, their number decreases many times. It turns out that the dish becomes less useful.
