Vegetables contribute to heart, bone, skin and eye health. But all this benefit for the body can be negated by the wrong way of processing. It's about fried vegetables. Such processing, according to nutritionist Molly Hembree, puts them on the same level as fast food.
This statement is proven by numerous studies. In the study, frequent consumption of fried food was associated with a higher risk of death.
A study published in the journal Nutrients proves that if you eat fried food more than once a week, you may face an increased risk of developing diabetes type 2, heart failure, obesity and hypertension.
Another study found that eating fried foods increases the risk of serious heart disease and stroke.
Molly Hembree recommends staying away from foods that prepared in a large amount of oil. At the same time, he admits that vegetables can be eaten not only in their pure form.
“For example, broccoli with a small amount of cheese is absolutely normal. But small pieces of vegetables in tons of fried breading are completely different,” said the nutritionist.
