Some soups are more often prepared in the summer, because they help cheer up and soothe famine. Nutritionists assessed the usefulness of the most popular first courses.
The status of okroshka is uncertain, since there is no single recipe for its preparation. Some use kefir, others prefer to fill everything with kvass or mineral water.
Radish contains a lot of indole-3-carbinol, which is involved in the prevention of oncology, recalled endocrinologist Zuhra Pavlova. If kefir is used, it is better to choose something low-fat, and kvass should be as natural as possible.
Dzadzhik also resembles okroshka, but in the Turkish version, although in Turkey it is more perceived as a sauce. It is prepared with kefir or yogurt, fresh cucumbers, greens, garlic and olive oil. Nutritionist Halyna Bartashevich admits that such a dish helps to refresh and quench thirst.
Beetroot soup resembles cold borscht. It can be cooked both on meat broth and on ordinary beetroot broth. Bartashevich pointed out the benefits of the main ingredient of this dish. Beets contain enough vitamins of group B, as well as A, C, E. The vegetable contains calcium, fiber, potassium and phosphorus. It is permissible to throw potatoes, cabbage, tomatoes, greens, eggs into the soup.
Gazpacho is a part of Spanish cuisine, it provides an additional supply of energy, because tomatoes are rich in antioxidants. The latter can reduce the risk of cancer and slow down the aging process. An important component in tomatoes is lycopene, which has a positive effect on immunity. However, with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, it is better to eat tomatoes with caution.
Experts call the most dietary summer soup tarator. For it, they take cucumbers, kefir, dill and garlic, rubbing part of the ingredients on a grater. Cucumber helps normalize cholesterol levels and reduce swelling. Kefir has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the intestines. There are many such soups, it is not worth it for those who have problems with the gastrointestinal tract.
