Dietitians have compiled a list of the most useful and harmful soups present on the Ukrainian menu. The expert shared recommendations for choosing the right dish.

The nutritionist called vegetarian vegetable soup the most useful. It contains many nutrients, and for people with high cholesterol, it is better to completely abandon fatty meat.

The most harmful part of the diet was solyanka, where several types of meat are put, which increases the calorie content of the finished product. Pickles and smoked meats also have a bad effect on the body, and they should be especially avoided by people with excess weight, problems with the cardiovascular system, and hypertension.

Mushroom soup is also not considered useful due to the content of extractive substances. Vegetables release a number of useful trace elements during cooking, including potassium and magnesium, which is very beneficial for the gastrointestinal tract. Experts recommend cooking soups every day, but monitor their composition.
