Sausages must be cooked for only 20 seconds from the moment of boiling. Nutritionists said this.
Manufacturers claim that sausages are good for the body: they have a beneficial effect on the skin and help improve brain function. As the nutritionist explained, 100 grams of this meat product contains 0.9-3% of the daily norm of vitamin E and 8-24% of the recommended daily level of vitamin B consumption.
In this regard, on epidermis and neurons sausage products are unlikely to have any positive effect. The doctor also doubted the statement about the benefits of sausages for the thyroid gland.
According to the doctor, a person should receive 150 μg of iodine per day, and 100 grams of meat product contains only 2 μg of this trace element. Sausage products will not benefit the circulatory system and joints, since they are not so rich in necessary substances.
Moreover, according to the doctor, there are contraindications for the use of these semi-finished products: heart failure, gout, phenylketonuria, obesity, diabetes , atherosclerosis and hypertension.
According to nutritionists, only natural, not store-bought, sausages should be cooked. The latter are already ready, as they undergo heat treatment at the time of production. However, they should be used raw only if there is confidence in the quality of the products.
If not, then it is worth resorting to cooking. At the same time, it is necessary to remove the sausages from the pan after 20 seconds from the moment of boiling. In addition to the stove, you can also use a microwave and a steamer for these purposes.
