Nutritious egg meatballs — taste like chicken cutlets

Eggs can be fried, baked, boiled, but the culinary battle of recipes does not end there. There are also options for dishes that are very original in taste and have a chance to win your favor. One of the interesting recipes is egg meatballs. They are usually made with meat, but the egg version has every right to exist as a nutritious snack.
What you need for cooking
Prepare the following products for cooking:
- chicken eggs — 2 pcs.;
- onion — 1 pc.;
- white bread — 1 slice;
- potatoes — 1 pc.;
- flour — 1 tbsp.;
- melted lard — 2 tbsp.;
- breadcrumbs — 1 tbsp.;
- greens;
- salt;
- ground black pepper.
How to cook
First, boil the potatoes. Then chop the onion and fry it in a pan with melted lard. Beat 4 eggs in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and pour over the fried onions in the pan. You should have an omelette that needs to be cooled. In the meantime, soak a slice of bread in milk.
You need to pass the following ingredients through a meat grinder: cold omelette, bread squeezed from milk, potatoes. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth. It needs to be supplemented with a raw egg, flour and finely chopped herbs. Add salt and add black pepper to taste.
Make meatballs and roll each of them in breadcrumbs. The main preparation is complete, all that remains is to fry everything in a frying pan in melted lard. You can serve these meatballs with a green salad. By the way, they taste like chicken cutlets.
