Open pie with parmesan, tomatoes and thyme

An open-type pie is good to prepare for a snack. It is tasty, beautiful and unforgettable. The recipe is quick, because you can buy puff pastry instead of kneading the dough for it. Read the recipe further in the post.

Ingredients

The following products are needed for the pie:

  • puff pastry — 250 g;
  • parmesan — 130 g;
  • tomatoes (cherry is fine);
  • thyme — 2-3 tsp;
  • olive oil — 2 tbsp;
  • parsley sprigs — 3 sprigs.

How to cook

The puff pastry needs to be defrosted. Roll it out into a layer. Make punctures on the surface, but do not move the edges. Grease the surface with oil and sprinkle with Parmesan.

Lay out the tomatoes. If using cherry tomatoes, cut them in half first. Place the tomatoes cut side up. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and thyme.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle the finished pie with chopped parsley. Enjoy!
