Original pie dough that is suitable for any filling

In the people they say: pies on the table are a holiday in the house. But pies have long since turned into everyday food. And the recipes for their preparation cannot be counted on the fingers. We offer to prepare pies from the dough, which the people jokingly call “the sinker”.

To prepare it, you need to dissolve 50 g of live yeast in 0.5 l of warm water. To go about it faster, add 3 tbsp. l. sugar After 15-20 minutes, add 1 tsp. salt, pour 3 tbsp. l. oil and knead the dough. You determine the amount of flour yourself, how much it will take, but so that the dough is soft.

Now the most important thing: put the dough in cheesecloth and lower it into a bucket of cold water (approximately 5-6 liters). As soon as the dough rises, it is ready to form pies. And which filling to take is up to your taste.
