Original salad with red beetroot for the festive table

Red beetroot is not a red fish, but if you cook it according to this recipe, you will get an exquisite dish. You can serve it for both a regular lunch and a festive one. The main thing in this salad is the dressing and dried nuts.

To prepare, boil 1-2 beets, be sure to use sweet ones, because you can't make a tasty dish from bad beets.
Prepare the walnuts: dry the kernels in a dry frying pan, but do not let them dry until they have a roasted flavor. The nuts should be slightly crunchy and not change their pale yellow color.
Cut the beets into pieces, oblong slices or cubes – if desired, sprinkle with nuts (quarters, not finely).
Add fresh herbs, in particular, young dill is ideal; if you don't have fresh, you can use frozen.
Dress with 1 tbsp. olive oil, 1 tsp. lemon juice and 1 tsp. soy sauce.
Stir before serving and treat yourself and your guests.
