Original, simple and tasty onion dumplings

Everyone knows about fritters, they are made from potatoes. The golden crust and delicate texture go perfectly with cold sour cream or fried mushrooms. We suggest you try our interpretation of the traditional dish. Make the dumplings not from potatoes, but from onions.
Ingredients for the dumplings
To start cooking, you will need the following products:
- 0.5 kg of onions;
- 5 tbsp. flour;
- 1 tsp. baking powder;
- 1 tsp. salt;
- 3 eggs;
- olive oil.
How to make the dumplings
The onions should be chopped with a knife. Do not use a blender or meat grinder, as this will ruin the taste. Salt the onion mass. You can add a little black pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes to allow the ingredients to exchange flavors.
Sieve the flour and add the baking powder. Break the eggs, beat them lightly with a fork and pour into the onion. Now it's time to add the flour and mix everything well until smooth.
Fry the onion rings for a few minutes on each side in a well-heated frying pan, in olive oil. The original dish is ready. It tastes great both on its own and as an addition to soups. Delicious!
