Out of poverty: father and son became millionaires and changed their diet

Before buying a lottery ticket, a man told the seller that if he won, he would give up one product that his family had to eat because of poverty.

In the USA, a father and son from the state of Tennessee won one million dollars in the lottery.

An elderly man, who chose not to give his name, bought a ticket at a gas station in the city of Adairville, Kentucky. Before the purchase, he told the seller that if he won, he would give up one product that the family had to eat because of poverty.

“If I win a million, I will never eat bologna sausage again,” said the American.< /p>

Jody, the winner's son, said that his father did not make it home, erased the protective layer on the ticket and found that he really got rich. The lucky guy immediately started calling home.

“My father said that I will never believe what has happened to him now. I asked him what happened. He said, “We just won a million dollars!” I sat there and thought it was not a funny joke,” Jody shared his memories.

However, the elderly man returned home and showed his son the winning ticket. They took the winnings on June 10. Father and son decided to take the money right away and ended up with $500,000 after all taxes were deducted. If they had agreed to monthly payments, they would have received the full amount within a few years.

Jody also said that they had already paid off the mortgage and closed all the loans.

“Probably in a week at we will not be in debt at all. We will become free from all debts and bills,” he added.
