Paracetamol has been shown to be able to influence people's behavior

Scientists found that acetaminophen, also known as paracetamol, increased risk-taking. And this is one of the most popular analgesics in the world.
βIt seems that acetaminophen makes people feel less negative emotions when they think about risky actions β they just don't feel as much fear,β the scientists said.
In a series of experiments involving more than 500 students, researchers measured how a single dose of 1,000 mg of acetaminophen (the maximum recommended single dose for adults) influences their risky behavior. Some of the volunteers were given the active substance, and some – a placebo. They didn't know what they had won.
In each of the experiments, participants had to inflate an uninflated balloon on a computer screen while earning imaginary money. It was necessary to earn as much as possible by inflating the balloon, but make sure that it does not burst, otherwise the money will be lost. The results showed that students who took acetaminophen were more likely to take risks and pop bullets.
