Studies show that the substance contained in parsley, apigenin has anticancer properties, preventing the development of malignant formations.
Research results show that the well-known parsley contains a substance that has a powerful ability to slow down the progression of cancer or even stop its growth. Scientists have established that this substance, apigenin, slows down the production of the enzyme IKKa, which is associated with the growth and progression of cancer.
Other studies also support the anti-cancer properties of apigenin. In particular, tests conducted by the University of Missouri confirmed its effectiveness against breast cancer. The authors of another study reported that apigenin is able to destroy a large number of lung cancer cells.
To date, in total, more than 600 scientific articles have been published on the benefits of parsley and its “supersubstance” in the fight against cancer and the prevention of cancer.
