Pickled apples, the first to be served in winter

Apples are plentiful in autumn, as are recipes for cooking with them. One of the favorite options is pickled apples, but to make them fragrant, juicy and firm, you need to choose the right recipe.

How to pickle apples deliciously for the winter

Apples need to be sorted, washed and generously placed in a jar with currant and cherry leaves.

Cook the filling: for 5 liters of water – 400 g of sugar and 100 g of salt. If the water is not spring water, it is better to boil it. Add a pinch of cloves, black pepper and bay leaf.
Pour the cold marinade over the apples.

It is recommended to let it sit in a warm place for a few days, then put it in the cellar. You can try the pickled apples after 2-3 weeks.

Incredibly tasty, aromatic and not mushy.
