The Director of the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the KMDA said that this year a number of facilities will be handed over in Kyiv and one big one will be started, with the repair of the metro bridge across the Dnipro.

The director of the Transport Infrastructure Department of the KMDA Ruslan Kandybor announced the details on the air of the Kyiv24 TV channel. According to him, a number of streets in the Obolon district are currently being repaired, in particular, street Ivasyuk, where work is already being completed, as well as in Solomyanka. There, workers are also refurbishing the sidewalk and bike lanes.

Also, according to Kandybor, repair works on Povitroflotsky prospect will be completed in the near future. On the other hand, on the Kyiv semi-ring (“Highway T1027”, a road of regional importance in the Kyiv region, which also passes through the territory of the capital), work will last a little longer and will be completed only “this year”, so far without a specific date.

“In May, we are opening traffic on Polyarna and Bogatyrska Streets in order to be able to complete the work on the exits from this intersection to St. Bogatyrska. And the full scope of work – exits, (contact) network and trolleybus – will be in September,” Kandybor noted.
