Poor liver function may be one of the causes of hair loss

Listing the possible causes of hair loss, the doctor noted that the problem can be explained by an unhealthy state of the liver.

In an interview with a specialist, it was explained that the most common cause of hair loss and thinning hair is a lack of nutrients. It, in turn, can be explained by the fact that a person receives too little of them with food, or his body does not absorb useful trace elements from products in the required amount.

The doctor noted that this disorder is often associated with poor functioning of the organs of the digestive system, namely the liver.

“The quality of hair is affected by disturbances in the functioning of the liver and biliary system. Without bile, most nutrients cannot be absorbed,” the doctor explained.

In addition, the doctor added, hair loss that occurs as a result of improper absorption of nutrients can be caused by transferred infections. One of the illustrative examples is alopecia areata.

Temporary baldness can also be a consequence of severe stress.

“Some antidepressants can also trigger hair loss,” the doctor warned.
