Popular products turned out to be “cures” for dementia
American scientists conducted a study on patients who did not experience dementia, who were on average 81 years old. For six years, the participants answered questions annually about how often they eat certain foods and also took intelligence tests.
The list included foods with a high content of flavonols. In addition, previously collected data showed that insufficient consumption of flavonols is really associated with the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.
So, olive oil, tomato sauce, cabbage, beans appeared in the list of foods that save from dementia , tea, spinach, broccoli and tomatoes. It is interesting that wine, pears and oranges also made it to the list.
