The oncologist drew attention to the signs of one of the most aggressive and deadly types of cancer.

The doctor reported that a serious pancreatic disease entails changes in two body systems: digestive and hormonal. Symptoms caused by a violation of their functioning can also occur with the development of pancreatic cancer, and they can easily be confused with other problems. For example, these can be troubles with the skin.

The doctor called yellowness of the skin a possible sign of pancreatic cancer. He added that the appearance of jaundice of the skin and mucous membranes can be explained by the presence of a malignant tumor affecting the head of the pancreas.

In turn, oncologists from the medical organization Cancer Research UK spoke about abdominal discomfort that often occurs with this disease.

“Discomfort can spread to the back and intensify when a person assumes a horizontal position (in a sitting position, the pain syndrome is less noticeable). The condition can also worsen after eating.”

Another doctor, gastroenterologist Dilyara Lebedeva, said that the appearance of pulling pain in the side is a common sign of disorders in the gastrointestinal tract, possible diseases. According to the specialist, a person with such a symptom must be examined, it is dangerous to ignore it.
