Pumpkin and orange juice

The most delicious recipes often contain, at first glance, incompatible ingredients. And here, Ukrainian pumpkin and Indian or Asian orange have taken root well.

Details

To prepare 17 liters of delicious juice, we need:
Pumpkin (peeled) – 7 kg
Oranges – 8 pcs. large
Sugar – 1.5 kg
Citric acid – 2 tbsp. with a slide
Water – 15 l.

Cut the zucchini, peeled from the skin and seeds, into pieces, pour cold water to cover it. Add the pumpkin pulp here (it will add thickness). Bring to a boil.

Cut the washed oranges in half, squeeze the juice out of them, and add the peel to the boiling mass. When the zucchini is cooked, remove the peel. Add sugar and citric acid.

Cool the cooked zucchini, beat with a blender or wipe through a sieve, bring to a boil again, pour into sterilized jars and screw on metal lids.

As a result of this simple work, you will get about 17 l of tasty and healthy juice with pulp!
