Quick and easy dressing for borscht for the winter

Ingredients

The following products are needed for cooking:

  • cabbage – 3 kg;
  • onion – 1 kg;
  • carrot – 1 kg;
  • tomatoes – 1.5 kg;
  • salt – 0.5 kg;

Beets, cabbage, onions, carrots and tomatoes must be cut. Cover them in a container with salt, sugar and oil. Leave to infuse in the refrigerator for a day.

Boil the vegetables for 20 minutes. Then add ¾ cup of vinegar and cook for another 10 minutes. the finished beet mixture should be poured into sterilized jars. Roll it up and put it in a warm place until it cools completely.

In winter, this dressing will be a real find. Just added to the borscht and everything is ready. Delicious!
