Recipe for chocolate sponge cake in milk

Chocolate sponge cake is the basis for many desserts. But how do you get a soft, airy sponge cake with a rich flavor that literally melts in your mouth? The secret is in the right combination of ingredients and careful adherence to the cooking process.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 ml milk
  • 80 ml oil
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder

To begin, beat fresh eggs with sugar until fluffy. Adding eggs increases the lightness of the dough and allows the sponge cake to rise during baking. Sift the flour, cocoa and baking powder to avoid lumps and ensure even baking. Carefully mix the dry and wet ingredients, add milk and oil to give the biscuit the desired moisture.

Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the biscuit for about 30-35 minutes. Do not open the oven in the first 20 minutes to prevent the biscuit from falling. Leave the finished biscuit to cool in the oven to avoid a sudden temperature drop.
