Ingredients:
1 kg of pumpkin
1 cup of boiled round rice (rinsed)
2 tbsp. sugar, or more, to taste
1 cup of milk
1 cinnamon stick
10 g of vanilla sugar
zest of half a lemon
1 tsp. butter
Preparation:
Grate the pumpkin on a coarse grater and put it to boil in a non-stick container. Pour in the milk, add the cinnamon stick and lemon zest (cut in a spiral, like peeling an apple), sugar, vanilla sugar and butter.
Let it simmer until the milk boils. Stir occasionally. When the pumpkin is ready, remove the cinnamon stick and the cut lemon zest and blend everything with a blender.
Then add the cooked, washed rice, stir, and let it boil a little longer. Cover and remove from the stove to let the porridge brew. Enjoy!
