Ingredients:
250 g flour
100 g sugar
150 g cottage cheese
100 g butter
1 egg
20 g nuts
11 g baking powder
100 g dried fruits
a pinch of salt
butter for greasing the stollen
powdered sugar
Preparation:
Before soaking the dried fruits in alcohol, pour boiling water over them for 10-15 minutes. You can also pour orange juice instead of alcohol, but they need to be infused for a day.
Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and add cold butter. Grind into crumbs. Beat the cheese with a blender together with the egg and add to the flour mixture.
Mix everything thoroughly. The dough should not stick to your hands. Roll the dried fruits and chopped nuts in flour and add to the dough, mix everything well, knead and divide into 2 parts.
Knead each part into a circle and put the filling closer to one edge. Then wrap this edge inward, cover with the other side and pinch the top and bottom so that the filling does not leak out.
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment and place in an oven preheated to 160 degrees, bake for 1 hour. Brush the warm stollen with melted butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Delicious!
