Recipe for stewed cabbage with mushrooms and pears

Cabbage with mushrooms and pears is an original combination that gives the dish a sweet note and rich aroma. The pear adds a light fruity accent, and the mushrooms enhance the depth of flavor, making the cabbage special. Of course, meat won't spoil the taste either, but you can do without it.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g of white cabbage
  • 200 g of champignons or wild mushrooms
  • 1 large pear
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt, pepper to taste

Start by cutting the cabbage into thin strips. Chop the onion and cut the mushrooms into slices. Place the onion in a heated pan with olive oil, fry until transparent, then add the mushrooms and simmer until the excess moisture evaporates.

Peel the pear and cut into thin slices. Add the cabbage and pear to the pan with the mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
