Religious people get more pleasure from sex

Scientists from the University of Exeter have found that religious people have the highest level of satisfaction with intimate relationships. But people with higher education have sex less often and are more likely to express dissatisfaction with it.

Researchers from the UK have come to the interesting conclusion that people who attend church frequently are more likely to have a satisfactory intimate life.

Religious citizens, as a rule, were more likely to report satisfaction in the bedroom with their partners, compared to those who were not religious or practiced casual sexual intercourse.

The results of this study confirm the adage that quality is more important than quantity, especially when it comes to sex. Yes, religious people generally had sex less often, but these activities brought them more satisfaction than those who had sex more often, but with a large number of partners.

It turned out that the more often men and women approved of so-called casual sex or making love without love itself, the less pleasure they received.

The researchers emphasize that the relationship between the frequency of sex and sexual satisfaction is not simple and straightforward. In all types of relationships, a lack or excess of sex is associated with lower sexual satisfaction.

There is an optimal amount of lovemaking, and it is on this that a higher level of satisfaction depends. And religious people are less likely to engage in casual sex and are more likely to limit their sexual activity to relationships based on love. However, it is possible that they initially do not have very high expectations from sex, since they are not tempted.
