One of the important beneficial properties of rice from the refrigerator is its positive effect on immunity. Intestinal bacteria that feed on resistant starch synthesize butyric acid, thanks to which the balance of intestinal flora improves, which also affects the state of the immune system – it becomes more active in the fight against pathogens and malignant cells.
How to store rice in the refrigerator. Experts advise not to wait for the rice to cool completely after cooking, in order to avoid the appearance of bacteria in it. Ideally, the product should be cooled for 24 hours – after that, the concentration of resistant starch in it becomes as high as possible.
