Risk factors for heart disease in youth

Cardiovascular diseases are usually associated with middle and old age. However, these diseases are increasingly appearing in young people, and here are the main reasons.

Sedentary lifestyle. People under 30 who spend most of their time sitting in front of computers are much more likely to encounter cardiovascular diseases, compared to those who lead an active lifestyle.

Smoking. This bad habit has a lot of negative consequences for our health, and one of them is an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. The fact is that smoking negatively affects the health of the arteries and disrupts blood flow to vital organs, including the heart and brain.

Elevated cholesterol levels. Poor nutrition is very common among young people who are overly optimistic about their health reserves. As a result of the absorption of harmful products, cholesterol levels increase, which leads to clogged arteries and heart and vascular diseases.
