Roasted sweet pepper for the winter

To have sweet pepper dishes on the table all year round, make a billet from it for winter.

Details

0.5 kg of sweet pepper, 3 tbsp. sugar, 12 tbsp. vinegar, 1 tsp. salt and 2-3 cloves of garlic.

Wash the peppers, remove the stalks, fry them whole from four sides in sunflower oil.

Place in sterilized jars, not tamping and sealing too much.

Put sugar, salt, vinegar and crushed garlic on top of the pepper in a jar and pour boiling water over it.

Twirl the jars, turn them over and wrap them in warm clothes until they cool down.

Such pepper is delicious with various side dishes: cereals, potatoes or pasta products.

It is also delicious to add heated pepper to warm salads with meat. It tastes like this pepper just off the grill.
