Plan for caring for seedlings
Everyone knows that a rose is ready for winter when its young shoots have matured. If this does not happen, they will remain thin and weak, they will not survive the winter, because they will freeze. That is why you need to get rid of such shoots.
Break them out by hand or cut them with pruners. This is the main point that determines what will happen to your roses in the future. You should not twist or manually break off young branches. By doing this, you are harming the plant, damaging the replacement buds. As a result, the vegetative cycle for roses is disrupted.
If the roses have sprouted, then all the young shoots should be cut off with pruners, leaving 0.5 cm stumps. In this way, the replacement bud will remain. It will then recover and grow.
Roses are planted in a period when the temperature is not lower than +7 degrees. If the roses have an open root system, and the temperature has become significantly lower, then such roses will need to be dug up. Then in the spring they can be transplanted to a permanent place of cultivation.
