Roses will not bloom: the owner of “Kvilinsky Garden” died in the war, the enterprise is closed
Talented rose gardener Jan Kvilinsky died at the front in January. However, social networks were struck by a short message that appeared on the garden's page on April 25.
The garden stops working
“The Kvilinsky Garden is no more. The owner of the farm Jan Kvilinsky died in the war. The Kvilinsky Garden no longer grows or sells flowers,” the post said.
Currently, this message is only available on the Facebook page. He is not on Instagram, and the site of the garden is not working. Before that, in September, there was talk on Facebook that the garden would temporarily stop working. So people hoped to order rose seedlings already in the spring.
Now, after the announcement of the suspension of work, users express their condolences to the family of the deceased. “One of the most tragic inscriptions of this century”, “The flower of the nation is dying”, they write. Some are asking for a review of the decision in order to continue the case of the deceased. There is an opinion that, although there is no garden, the roses bought from Jan Kvilinsky will please the eyes of many people throughout Ukraine.
Among the comments, there are a lot of words from those who were clients of the Kvilinsky Garden. But people who did not follow the page and saw the news by accident are also speaking out.
Social networks express their condolences to the Hero's family:
“It's sad that the Kvilinsky Garden will no longer exist. Your incredible roses have decorated many gardens in Ukraine, as well as my garden. A careful rose gardener appeared in the garden of paradise…”
“This year I planned to buy a few roses for myself from your garden. But… it's a pity that the Kvilinsky garden will no longer exist… eternal glory to the rose gardener-hero and condolences to his relatives. I suggest to everyone who has Kvilinsky roses in their garden, to honor the memory of Hero Yan Kvilinsky, post a photo of his roses blooming.”
“The garden of Kvilinsky will always be… in our gardens, in our flowerbeds, in our squares and parks… All of Ukraine blooms thanks to the work of your husband…”
“What a pity that the people who created beauty were forced to take weapons in hand”.
“There is no garden, but roses are about to bloom all over the country”.
“Many people bought roses from you (I also bought them, advised and ordered them to friends ), so that your rose garden is practically the whole of Ukraine, which is about to forget the blossoms of your lovingly grown roses”.
