Russia mobilizes Ukrainians from occupation: GUR spoke about the terrible treatment in the enemy army

Illegally mobilized citizens complained about harsh hazing. The bullying went as far as exploding grenades in the barracks.

Residents of the temporarily occupied territories mobilized by Russia are suffering from harsh hazing. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense spoke about what is happening to Ukrainians in the Russian Armed Forces.

According to the “I Want to Live” project, in the fall of 2024 alone, 30 residents of the occupied territories of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions were drafted into the occupation army. They were sent to serve in one of the military units in Crimea.

Now it has become known what attitude is towards those illegally mobilized in the Russian Armed Forces. The sergeants for Ukrainians were appointed from the Caucasus. Intelligence reported that they “incite interethnic hatred”, systematically beat their subordinates and even detonate training grenades in the barracks. For the residents of the occupation, they create “unbearable living conditions”, forcing them to observe the performance of namaz – the daily five-time prayer of Muslims.

In addition to the fact that Ukrainians are humiliated, they are also poorly fed. Illegally mobilized people complained about food that was “worse than prison food,” and that was also in short supply.

The GUR emphasized that from October 31 to December 31, 2024, the Russian Federation illegally mobilized approximately 300 men from the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. The department emphasized that this conscription is another war crime of the Kremlin. However, there is a chance to leave the occupation army, and the “I Want to Live” project is helping with this.
